John Humphreys, Chairman
John established KPMG’s Australian consulting business and was Chairman of Consulting for Asia Pacific before leading the divestment and subsequent merger of the business into BearingPoint in the region.
He commenced his career with Peat Marwick over 30 years ago as a graduate accountant, having completed a commerce degree. He quickly qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Australian Society of Public Accountants, achieving Fellowship status in both organisations.
John is currently Chairman of Board of Directors of Salter Brothers Asset Management Pty Ltd.
Peter Cameron, Director
With a degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of NSW, Peter commenced his career at Price Waterhouse in the mid 80’s. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst part of the Corporate Finance team he moved to the corporate sector and assisted with the privatisation of The Grain Elevators Board which is the now ASX listed GrainCorp Limited.
Whilst at GrainCorp Peter was responsible for Financial Reporting & Treasury Management.
Leveraging his business valuation and financial modelling skills Peter moved into the Financial Markets arena and became a private client advisor running managed discretionary accounts for high net worth individuals before establishing his own Hedge Fund.
Marco Marcou, Director
Marco has over 30 years’ experience in leading and advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, governance, private equity raising and investments. Marco has held a number of senior management positions in the telecommunications, technology and resources sectors with Benchmark Factory – NASDAQ:DELL (USA), SpeedCast – ASX:SDA (Hong Kong), Damovo-Ericsson – NASDAQ:ERIC (Australia) and Deloitte Consulting (Australia & Hong Kong) specialising in corporate strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Recently, Marco also held the role of Executive Director and Company Secretary at Kazakhstan Potash Corporation Limited (ASX:KPC) and currently is a Non-Executive Director of Salter Brothers Emerging Companies Limited (ASX:SB2) a listed investment company. Prior to this, Marco was joint founder and Director of MAP Capital Advisors, a boutique corporate advisory and funds management business.
Marco holds a Master of Business Administration from Swinburne University of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
